A couple of weeks ahead of his Friday night headlining gig at this weekend’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, The Weeknd dropped a surprise EP titled My Dear Melancholy. The six-track offering secured the 28-year-old Canadian his third straight Billboard 200 No. 1 hit. He just released the first official music video to support it.
“Call Out My Name” is an emotional breakup anthem produced by Frank Dukes. It’s generated nearly 65 million streams so far and already reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The accompanying visual is appropriately dreary and moody. Dark imagery is shown throughout the Grant Singer-directed clip. It’s quite striking. Check it out below.
