Family and friends of the late Martyn Hett have taken to Twitter to remember him on what would have been his 30th birthday.

The gay Ariana Grande fan was the 10th person to be confirmed as a victim of the Manchester bombing of an Ariana Grande concert.

Hett and his boyfriend Russel had appeared on and won British show Come Dine With Me together.

Hett was also a huge fan of British show Coronation street.

He appeared on reality show Tattoo Fixers to get a giant tattoo of his favorite character, Deirdre Barlow, on his leg.

Shortly before the bombing, Hett had quit his job as a digital manager at a PR firm to go on a two-month trip around the US.

Celebrities, including Mariah Carey and Wendy Williams, paid tribute to him.

His brother, Dan Hett, posted to Twitter explaining today would have been the LGBTI advocate’s 30th birthday.

Dan posted a picture of flowers he’d left on Hett’s memorial bench.

Hett’s boyfriend Russell Hayward also shared his own tribute.

He posted a heartbreaking statement and two pictures of the pair on Twitter.

The pictures were the ‘first and last pic of us.’

Russell said: ‘Thank you for making my life so so happy and magical. You made me the person I am today and I’ll forever be grateful to you.

‘I’ve done many things this year; I’ve taken myself out of my comfort zone to do things for you because the love and respect I have for you completely overtook grief.’

Friends of Hett shared pictures of themselves with him, saying ‘Hope you’re having a scream up there.’

Hett had a large following on the internet and was a contributor to gay magazines Attitude and QX.

Hundreds gathered in a park in Stockport to celebrate the life of Hett in late May.

Coronation Street actress Shobna Gulati turned up to read a poem written by one of the show’s former writers in Hett’s honor.
