Backstreet Boys Plead ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ On New Synth-Pop Single

The Backstreet Boys haven’t had a Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 hit since “Incomplete” which peaked at No. 13 back in 2005. That might all change with their new offering. Maybe I’m biased since I was a fan back in the day, but I’m kinda feelin it. And I’m not the only one.

“The minute we heard this song we knew it was special,” says bandmate Kevin Richardson in a statement. “I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON. Great verse, hook and melodies. Just makes you wanna listen over and over again.”

Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” is an electro-synth pop bop produced by Jamie Hartman and Stuart Crichton. It’s the band’s first single with RCA Records. Rich + Tone directed the clip which finds the boys rocking out some old school choreo. Check it out below.
